BC&A developed a trail master plan for the Provo Reservoir Canal Trail/Murdock Canal Trail starting in Lehi and ending in Orem in Utah County. The project included a pedestrian and equestrian trail within the right-of way of the future piped and buried Murdock Canal. The trail master plan included illustrations of the corridor, hand and computer graphics and GIS mapping.  The intent of the master plan was to develop a document to assist in securing funding for the trail portion of the project; the plan was also used throughout the public process as well as the environmental document preparation.  

BC&A is now currently part of the design-build team with Gerber Construction developing the design of the 13-million dollar trail construction project which is expected to be complete in 2013. This high profile project will connect seven cities along 21-miles of paved trail, including six trailheads, several undercrossings and shade structures with drinking fountains along the trail corridor.  The trail is intended for bicyclists, pedestrians and equestrian use.
