
Featured Project: Timpanogos WWTP 2009 Plant Expansion
Client: Timpanogos Special Service District (TSSD)
Bowen Collins & Associates designed the $70 Million Timpanogos WWTP 2009 Expansion Project, construction began in March 2010. When completed, the capacity of the treatment plant will be increased from 18.3 mgd to 30 mgd. The project includes a new headworks and influent pump station, conversion of the existing oxidation ditches to high-rate activated sludge with biological nutrient removal, solids dewatering, and UV disinfection. Support facilities including a maintenance building and generator building will also be provided. BC&A also provided construction management services for this project.
