Ashley Valley Wastewater Treatment Facility - Ashley Valley Sewer Management Board (AVSMB)

BC&A served as the Project Manager on the Ashley Valley Wastewater Treatment Plant. The plant replaced existing lagoons that served the community. The project was a joint effort with CH2M Hill and included the design of a 4.7 mgd oxidation ditch. Also included in the design is an aerated sludge holding basin, solids dewatering using a belt filter press, medium pressure UV disinfection and post aeration. Estimated cost of the facility was $17 million.
