Sanitary Sewer System Evaluation Study - Central Weber Improvement District (CWSID)
The CWSID Sanitary Sewer System Evaluation Study
included the creation of a GIS-based sewer system master plan and
inventory program for the 47 miles of sewer trunkline and other system
conveyance and collection facilities of CWSID. The inventory is an
electronic database linked to an electronic map of all the District
facilities. With this electronic inventory a management strategy was also
created to facilitate maintenance and improvement activities of CWSID. As
part of the study a hydraulic model was created from the database to
simulate hydraulic operations of the collection and conveyance system,
which included six pump stations and various diversions and inverted
siphons. The hydraulic model results, which were linked to the GIS
inventory and map, were used to determine needed improvements for the
system at present and projected future discharges.
