Sevier Bridge Dam Rehabilitation: Association of State Dam Safety Officials 2025 National Rehabilitation Project of the Year

December 30, 2025

BC&A is honored to receive the National Rehabilitation Project of the Year for our work on the Sevier Bridge Dam — a 120-year-old, 92-foot-tall structure vital to Utah’s agriculture, power, and recreation.

This prestigious award, presented by the Association of State Dam Safety Officials, recognizes innovative remedial design that advances dam safety and reflects the highest standards of professional engineering. Specifically, this project addressed critical concerns related to a Maximum Credible Earthquake (MCE) and Probable Maximum Flood (PMF) while prioritizing cost-effectiveness.

BC&A’s own Thayne Clark flew to Cleveland, Ohio to attend the 2025 Dam Safety Conference in September to receive the award alongside our partners Gerhart Cole and Ames Construction.
